Wondering where the classified areas are at your site?  Wonder no more, the answers are here at Stratus.During recent activities at Stratus, the staff in the Ventura Office have been compiling site maps for a group of select sites detailing the areas within the site boundaries that are classified as Class I environments based on the National Electric Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA).  These maps will be rolled out soon to the respective project managers for inclusion in the site HASPs and for future work planning efforts.  If you have a site that you are questioning if your work area is within an area classified as a Class I hazardous area, contact Dan Dowdy (ddowdy@stratusinc.net, 805-477-9750) for clarrification and assistance.
